LDLC have filed a protest to the DreamHack Winter admins over the boost used by fnatic on de_overpass.
After losing the first half of the map 3-12, fnatic turned the score around in dramatic fashion as they used a boost never seen before in matches between professional teams.
Standing on top of a team-mate, Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer could see almost the entire map and used this position not only to take down LDLC's players but also to anticipate the French team's attacks.
The issue was that the fnatic player who was giving the boost was seemingly standing on an invisble map ledge, which, if confirmed, is a violation of the tournament's "pixelwalking rules." The boost spot also apparently turns some walls invisible, as you can see from the second picture below.
The DreamHack admins are currently looking into the issue, and a decision is expected to be made in the next few hours.
HLTV.org knows that if they rule in favour of LDLC, the two teams will face each other again only tomorrow, before the first semi-final, between NiP and Virtus.pro (scheduled for 13:00 ). If this is the case, replaying just the second half or the entire map are possibilities.
